The Cricut Confidence Club
For the Cricut that's been sitting in the box
You didn't buy a Cricut to feel dumb.
Three live tutorials a month, a live Q&A where you can ask me anything, and 10 to 15 new design files. So you stop watching other people make beautiful things and start making them yourself.
Crafting together for over 5 years. Works with any Cricut: Maker, Explore or Joy.
The minute you sign up, your welcome email brings the group password and a free PDF of 20 quick and easy DIY projects, so you can make something tonight. Then on the 1st, we all start the month together, live.
Here's the thing about that machine.
You saved for it. Or someone who loves you gave it to you. You had a whole list of things you were going to make.
And then you turned it on.
Design Space opened, and it looked like a cockpit. You watched a YouTube video that skipped the one step you needed. You downloaded a bundle of a thousand files and made exactly none of them. Somewhere in there a small voice said maybe I'm just not a tech person.
So the machine went on the shelf. And every time you walk past it, you feel a little bit bad.
That's not a you problem. That's a teaching problem.
Nobody handed you a complete project and walked you through it start to finish while you were actually holding the vinyl. That's the whole thing that's been missing.
What's waiting for you inside
Every single month, here's what shows up:
live tutorials a month
Not pre-recorded. I go live and we make a complete project together, step by step. Type a question mid-project and I'll answer it right then.
live Q&A every month
Bring me your stuck. The thing that won't cut right, the layer that keeps peeling, the setting you can't find. We untangle it together.
new design files a month
Ready to cut. No hunting, no learning a new program first. And every one is commercial-use licensed, so you can sell what you make.
years of a private group
Where people post the thing they just made at 11pm because they couldn't wait to show someone. You're not doing this alone anymore.
That's four times a month you're on live with me. For $19.
The kind of thing you'll be making
Porch signs, seasonal decor, shirts, gifts with a family name on them. Every membership file is commercial-use licensed, so if you want to sell at a craft fair or in your own little shop, go for it.
Look what they made
Real members, in their own words.
"I did it!! I'm proud of it!!"
"I have to say I am very proud of myself. My daughter asked me to make her teacher assistant end of the year bag, multiple multiple layers of HTV. I see some issues, but for my first attempt I think it turned out pretty good."
Read that again. First attempt. Multiple layers of HTV. She saw the flaws and she was proud anyway. That's what I want for you.
"With the help of the Cricut cutting out the circles, 50 Christmas cards are cut, stamped, colored, embossed, glittered and assembled, including stamping on the envelopes. I love making cards."
Fifty cards. That's what it looks like a little further down the road.
Five years of women posting things they didn't think they could make. I'd love for yours to be next.
This is for you if…
- You own a Cricut and you've barely used it
- You're tired of tutorials that assume you already know things
- You want to finish something, not just learn about finishing something
- You'd rather have someone to ask than a search bar
- You want to make things for your people, and maybe, eventually, sell a few
- You already know your way around and just want fresh, commercial-use files every month (plenty of members are here for exactly that)
Probably not for you if…
- You'd rather work alone and figure it out yourself
- You're looking for a business course. This is a crafting membership first
What's really stopping you
"I'm not techy enough."
Friend, that's the whole reason this exists. You don't need to be techy. You need someone to show you where to click while you're clicking. That's what the lives are for.
"I don't have time."
I post the month's calendar at the beginning of every month, so you can pick the ones you can actually make. Every live is saved, so you're never really missing anything, you're just watching it later. Most members craft in the pockets: a Saturday morning, an evening after the house goes quiet.
"$19 a month adds up."
It does. Here's an honest way to think about it: if it gets your machine off the shelf, it paid for itself the first month. And if it doesn't, cancel. No hard feelings, no phone call, no guilt.
"I've bought stuff like this before and never used it."
I hear this a lot. Usually it was a file dump with nobody attached to it. The difference here is I'm actually there, live, four times a month. Harder to drift off when someone's expecting you.
I'm Vanessa
I've been building Owl B Crafty for over six years. Cricut, laser, kits, live sales: I've done a lot of it, and I've made every mistake there is to make along the way.
I started this business in the middle of grief. Crafting was how I got through it, and building something with my hands turned out to be the thing that put me back together. That's not a marketing story, that's just what happened.
So when I say I understand what it means to sit down at a machine feeling like you have no idea what you're doing, I do. I also know what it feels like on the other side of that, when a thing you made with your own hands is sitting there finished in front of you.
That's what I'm trying to hand you. One project at a time.
Questions friends ask
When do I get access?
Right away you get a welcome email with the group password and a free PDF of 20 quick and easy DIY projects, so you can start tonight. Memberships officially begin on the 1st of the month, and that's when you're approved into the group and the month's lives open up. I do it this way on purpose, so everybody starts the month together.
Is this the same as Cricut Access?
Nope. Cricut Access is Cricut's own subscription for images and fonts inside Design Space. This is me, a real person, teaching you live, plus files made to be finished. You don't need Cricut Access to use our files: they're SVGs you upload into Design Space yourself, and I'll show you how.
Do I need to know anything before I join?
Nope. Bring the machine and a willingness to mess up a little. Still in the box or crafting for years, we'll meet you where you are.
What if I can't make the lives?
Come when you can. Every live is saved in the group, so you can watch at 6am or 11pm or three weeks later in your pajamas. I post the calendar at the start of every month so you can plan around it.
What kind of Cricut do I need?
Whatever one you've got. Maker, Explore, Joy: any Cricut machine will work.
Can I sell what I make?
You sure can. Every file in the membership is commercial-use licensed, so sell at a craft fair or in your own little shop. That's a big part of why I do this.
Do I keep the files if I leave?
Anything you've downloaded is yours to keep forever. Just download as you go, because the group and everything in it is only open while your membership is active.
How do I cancel?
Send an email to Owl B Crafty and we'll take care of it. No hoops, no awkward conversation. I don't do refunds on months already paid, and you keep access through the end of the month you've paid for. After that nothing charges you again.
Come craft with us
I know what it's like to walk past that machine and feel a little pang about it. I'd love for that to stop.
Picture yourself a month from now. You're on live with a bunch of women figuring it out together, you've got vinyl on your mat, and by the end of the hour there's a finished thing on your table that wasn't there before. You post a picture in the group, and about fifteen people lose their minds over it.
No pressure at all. If now's not the right time, I'll be here. But if you've been waiting for a reason to finally use that machine, I think this might be it.
